After putting together a strong showing on the offensive side of the map, taking a 6-4 lead, the DoW team was able to vitrually shut down Progressive E-Sports on defense, only allow one additional round. Nice job to those in action on Sunday in picking up the 11-5 win and a good game to Progressive E-Sports. 125 Views | Rating: (0 rates)

by Loki on August 17, 2008, 12:44:00 AMThe new DOW TGL squad opened things up with a solid win on Thursday. Hard work and the many hours spent scrimming together, paid off in a 19-5 win against Pure Domination [pD]. With Bharsell leading the pack (through skillful baiting of his teammates), the team individual scores and effort in game, showed the equal hand by all in this big opening victory. DOW set the pace early by leading at the half 13-4, and never let up until the 24th round was finished. The [pD] group demonstrated good sportsmanship and skill, but were unable to stop the onslaught. Looking forward to another great week from our squad on "Crossfire" next week. Good show guys! 130 Views | Rating: (0 rates)

by funk on June 20, 2008, 12:06:00 PMThe DoW team was able to pick up wins in both CAL and TGL this week. In CAL's Sunday night match, DoW was able to make headway in season 2, winning 16-8 on Strike and pick up a much needed win.
Additionally, DoW was able to end the TGL season on a high note with a big victory on Broadcast, 19-5. Unfortunately, DoW fell short of making the TGL playoffs this season, but was able to muster a respectable .500 record in their first season of CoD competition at TGL. While the team is disappointed in not making it to the post season, TGL turned out to be a good experience for the squad in continuing to build on their teamwork, as DoW begins to accumulate more competitive CoD4 experience. With a few tough matches against high ranking opponents and a few curious map decisions made by TGL, no one at DoW is ashamed of their 4-4 record.
With the TGL Season over, the squad now focuses solely on CAL, which is quickly approaching the mid point of Season 2.
